The Roundhouse and PEN International’s collaboration on a global creative project, in partnership with the British Council and Arts Council England. I was invited to document a spoken word project in Honduras, while also filming each of the participant’s resulting written piece. This is a short overview of our time there, and the difficulties these young people face.

It was an amazing and humbling experience, the individuals were incredible humans who persevered to create even against a backdrop of a troubled political landscape and a strong thread of patriarchy that the young women have to face there on a daily basis.
